Reliance First Capital assists in Relief Efforts for Hurricane Sandy victims

November 23, 2012

Melville, NY:  Hurricane Sandy, the Super Storm that ravaged through the Northeastern region, left many homeless and in need of assistance.  Reliance First Capital, the mortgage banking firm who serves not only the NY, NJ and CT areas but many other states in the nation, provided support to Island Harvest by delivering much needed donations of food, clothing and money to the families impacted by the storm.

“Hurricane Sandy and the Nor’easter which followed had a direct impact on many of our customers, our employees and the communities we service,” explained Larry Karpen, a Vice President at Reliance First Capital.  “Our entire organization quickly mobilized to collect canned foods, bottled water, clothing, cleaning supplies and other items, along with monetary donations, to help support the efforts of Island Harvest in assisting those affected by the storms.  And we continue to deliver items each week to Island harvest as employees from around our organization continue to donate.”
